About the Studio

Dunsky Kornhauser Architects  was established in 2008 by the reunion of two frims: Dunsky Architects and Designers (established at 1991) and Work Architects (Arch. Miki Kornhauser, established at 1985).

DKA is currently managed by three partners: Architects Zvi Dunsky, Miki Kornhauser and Vered Gindi. Operating as a boutique studio, we were awarded numerous prizes for our work  throughout the years.

Zvi Dunsky, born in 1956 in Haifa, Israel, received his Architecture and Town Planning degree in 1983, graduating from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, with distinction.
In 1985 he received his Masters degree in Building Design from Columbia University, NY. Prior to establishing his practice in 1991, he was working in the USA, Germany, and Israel, with prominent figures such as Moshe Safdie, Ada Karmi-Melamede, Davis & Brody Architects of New York, and various landscape architects in Israel.
Zvi has been teaching Architecture and interior design in major academic institutions in Israel, such as The Technion, Tel Aviv University, The College for Management and Shenkar School of Design. He frequently lectures to students as part of an extra-curriculum activity.

Miki Kornhauser, born in 1951, received his Architecture degree in 1978, graduating from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a period of studies in Florence, Italy. Between the years 1990 and 1995 he lived and worked as an architect in Switzerland. Today, he is running projects both in Israel and in East Europe.

Vered Gindi joined the firm in 2007. She graduated Cum Laude from the departments of Philosophy and Architecture in the University of Toronto, Canada (2003).  She holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy (1999) from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Following her scholastic achievements, Vered worked for ARK (Architecture-Research-Knowledge) of Petroff Architects in Canada, designing and managing numerous public ventures, then headed her private practice in Israel.  Vered holds various teaching positions in leading institutions for interior design in Israel.
